The idea for Last wishes first came about 20 years ago after my father's very sudden and very tragic death, the effects of which are still felt to this day. We were a family grieving and at that time, all we had after the funeral was a handful of photos and a memorial card. As time passed, we created our own keepsakes, but I often wished we had made more effort to make memories, take more pictures and have recordings so we could remember his voice.
